Ford recently registered to kick off the testing process for self-driving Ford Fusion models at the Palo Alto research and innovation center in California. Through a number of simulated and virtual tests, the company has been able to predict how the models will interact with pedestrians. But testing these automated vehicles isn't all for fun and games. According to AutoGuide.com, "Ford is also working with Riders for Health to collect GPS data and mapping coordinates in rural Africa, to help make the delivery of health care and vaccines more efficient." Talk about going further.
